Our vacation home has central air-conditioning; washer and dryer and an equipped kitchen; Sleeping accommodations (3 bedrooms) include: queen; double; twin; bunkbeds; 2 full baths; free Verizon hi-speed internet; parking for two (2) cars MAXIMUM; equipped kitchen; tastefully decorated; privacy (this is an individual vacation/beach home not a condo).
We are located in immaculately maintained Montego Bay Residential Community in Ocean City MD. Community Amenities Included 2 Pools (Memorial Day to Labor Day), 2 Tennis Courts, Shuffleboard Courts, 9 Hole Miniature Golf Course With A Childrens Playground, 8 Acre Lake With Wildlife Sanctuary And Walking/Jogging Path, 5-Acre Park Next To Lake. Conveniently located next to Ocean City's popular Northside Park (a 52-acre park) - walking trails; biking; softball fields; fishing & crabbing piers.
The Ocean City area is home to at least twelve 18-HOLE GOLF COURSES within a twenty minute drive; Main attractions include: Assateague Island, Ocean City's Famous Boardwalk and Inlet area, Frontier Town Wild West Show, Bethany, Dewey and Rehoboth Beaches, Rehoboth Outlets (tax-free shopping).
Maryland has some interesting historic sites. During the War of 1812 there was a last-ditch maneuver by the British military to take back the colonies, in which they burned down much of Washington DC. They wanted to destroy the shipyards at Baltimore. The British forces lost, and were held off by a small fort at the harbor's mouth; the fort's resistance inspired an onlooker, Francis Scott Key, to write the words to The Star-Spangled Banner.
