Would you like to teach parent workshops, play classes, early childhood educator training and more to parents, teachers, and medical professionals?
We offer several programs for people that love working with parents and babies.
Our Teachers
Baby Signs® instructors have a wide range of backgrounds. They represent teachers, speech-language pathologists, parents, social workers, therapists, interpreters, child development professionals and many other professions. Many instructors are teaching at community hospitals, state programs, parenting programs, child development centers, community centers and other children’s health and education organizations, including CDCs on US military bases around the world.
We provide training - in both infant sign language, early childhood development and a certification to teach the Baby Signs® Program. Instructors also receive on-going support to start and grow a thriving program in their community.
Both programs are self-paced, distance learning training programs, consisting of both written and video materials. They include ready-to-teach curricula, business administration documents, marketing tools and resources, training DVDs and CDs and much more.

New classes that cover topics and ages well beyond the focus of our traditional signing format. The new program, called On the Grow, offers fun and exciting classes for parents and children (birth to age 5) to enjoy together.
This 90-minute class provides parents with an overview of the Baby Signs Program including the many benefits of signing, basic "How Tos" for teaching babies to sign, and many of the most useful signs through games, songs, and entertaining activities.
A series of six theme-based classes generally offered over a 6-week period, with 45-minute sessions designed for parents and babies to attend together
The goal of this program is to help child care programs of any size-big or small-begin enjoying the benefits that come from incorporating signing into daily interactions between children and teachers. Instructors can now offer Continuing Education Units!
