Avis Budget Group Hiring HR Rep Retention Specialists!

Avis Budget Group, a global leader in the travel services industry, is seeking a full-time Human Resources Representative.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Reports to Regional HR Manager and partners with RM, CMs and DMs on various recruitment and retention initiatives

• Individual will provide support to all Mid-Atlantic cities - although based in WABO and primarily dedicated to this city - ability to travel periodically to PHL, RIC and ORF may be required.

• Individual in the roles supports employees and leaders on a wide span of HR initiatives pertaining but not limited to talent acquisition, pre-employment system checks, new hire/on-boarding process and employee retention.

• Individual will have a significant role in recruitment (all associate positions-assisting with all Cities) sourcing, postings, coordinating and attending recruitment events/job fairs, etc.


• Individual will be part of HR and be directly involved in the New Hire Orientation (on-boarding) process

• Individual will solicit feedback on training, monitor employee impressions and attitudes during probationary periods; identify any barriers to success (operational issues/stress levels/peer impressions), mentor new associates on employee loyalty initiatives VOTC/VOTE – and our Customer Led, Service Driven philosophy.

• Individual will assist/participate in 30/60/90 day reviews whenever possible to determine alternative resources necessary to ensure employee success in performance.

• Individual will review success in role as it relates to Previsor scores, track attrition, and analyze reasons for employee departures. This position will also review CSI success as it relates to candidate profile/background and scores – to enhance our search for the most suitable, successful future employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree.
• 2 years Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity, with a high level of exposure to multi-level recruiting.

The successful candidate must possess and/or be willing to do the following:

• Experience working and supporting a large nonexempt and management employee population over multiple sites preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player, both as the sole HR professional on a business team or within the HR function.
• Strong HRIS and computer skills preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Proven ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.
• High attention to detail while handling multiple tasks.
• Experience with confidential matters and business decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a very fast paced environment.
• Experience working with collectively bargained populations preferred.
